If you are looking for a way to be free from the ups and downs of your reactive mind and wish to live with calmness and clarity, this mindfulness retreat may be what you’re looking for.

Rooted in Buddhist insight tradition, mindfulness practice has been applied in various secular contexts since the 1970s. Mindfulness is paying attention to what is happening in your body, thoughts and emotions in the present moment with a nonjudgmental and friendly attitude. When being mindful becomes a habit in daily life, you will relate to whatever you’re experiencing, be it pleasant, unpleasant or neutral, with equinimity.

This secular mindfulness retreat is open to all, from beginners to seasoned practitioner. Set in the beauty and nature of Pranburi, this weekend getaway will give everyone a chance to pause from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and look inward in a safe and supportive environment. There will be time for core practices, independent practice and individual consultations with three professional mindfulness educators.

1:30-2:30pm               Deep relaxation through Body Scan (Rhoda)

3:00-4:00pm               Mindfulness

4:00-5:30pm               Individual Consultation about practice

7:00-8:00pm               Self-Practice: Walking and Sitting Meditation

The cost for the weekend retreat is 10,000 THB (310 USD) for a shared room and 15,000 THB (460 USD) for a private room.
